Kids bike/scooter event in aid of building Water Wells in around the world
Challenge
For ages 3 - 12, we invite participants to join us at our venue to ride/scooter 1 to 5 miles (they can do as much or as little as they like) in aid of building water projects. Participants will be awarded a medal for their amazing efforts. Each child must have a guardian and they remain your responsibility.
Fundraising
The target fundraise is £50. Don't worry if you have never fundraised before, our experienced team will reach out and give lots of tips. What's even more amazing is that if the participant reaches £250 we will personalise a water well in their name as well as provide pictures.
Bouncy Castle
There will be a bouncy castle on site with allocated times for age groups.

RSRs aim to inspire young children to engage with charitable causes while promoting fitness and healthy living.
Over 1800 people including 633 children attended Ready Steady Ride in 2026. During the last 5 years 4290 people including 1682 children attending Ready Steady Ride.

Small group instruction across multiple sports
Campers learn the basics of soccer, basketball, swimming, and tennis in fun, age-appropriate sessions led by patient, experienced coaches—ensuring every child gets attention, encouragement, and a chance to shine.
Parent check-in photos and updates throughout the week
Stay connected and at ease while your child is away—our team shares secure, daily photo updates and mid-week notes so you can follow their adventures and smile from afar.
First-time camper welcome activities
From silly icebreakers to cabin bonding games, we kick off the week with playful, low-pressure activities that help campers feel comfortable, included, and excited for the days ahead.
Daily cabin check-ins and structured rest time
Each day includes quiet moments for reflection, relaxation, and emotional check-ins with counselors—supporting kids’ well-being while helping them recharge for more fun.
Where big fun begins for little legends
Shuttle transportation is available to and from camp. Participants can be picked up near the York Street Subway Station on the F subway line. Subway access to the F, G, A, C, 2, 3 and B67.

A typical day includes warm-up games, skill-building drills, sport-specific training, team challenges, and fun group activities. There are also scheduled breaks for snacks, lunch, and rest. Each day balances structure with plenty of active play.

Campers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch (unless provided), athletic shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and any necessary medications. We’ll provide any sport-specific equipment unless otherwise noted.

Medical forms can be submitted via our online registration portal or emailed directly to [camp email address]. All forms must be submitted before the first day of camp.

Our staff is certified in CPR and first aid, and we maintain a low camper-to-coach ratio for close supervision. We also follow safety protocols for heat, hydration, and equipment use. Allergies and medical needs are documented and closely monitored.

We have indoor facilities and alternate activities planned in case of rain or extreme heat. We’ll communicate any schedule changes via email or text to parents as early as possible.
